| ABOUT ME Hi, I’m Irina Mazur, I’m Russian and married to an Englishman. My husband and I have two homes; one in Petrozavodsk, Karelia in North Western Russia and one in the UK. I was educated at a private English school in Petrozavodsk and later studied organic chemistry at Leningrad Lensovet Institute of Technology in St.Petersburg. After qualifying I worked for 10 years at the Russian Academy of Science in Novosibirsk, Siberia, as a Research Chemist. I speak fluent English and Norwegian. I worked for 8 years as chief translator at a large machine-building company in Karelia. I have travelled all over the world on business and can translate at all levels from detailed technical to top level board room meetings. I also have a MA degree in tourism and tourism management, with experience in organising business trips, visas, hotels, travel, etc. I’m a member of the Lincoln & District Soroptimist Club. |  |
